D&T - a pleasure to reference resolution of poetic difficulties. I have sung translations of this psalm that have really bothered me for 'filling in the gaps'.
Your analysis I have also referenced and adjusted my translation here. I note also from a personal and pragmatic point of view how much this phrasing enables and encourages the faith of waiting on the good pleasure of God.
